Dorset's Green Book and Directory is a book and reference guide to Dorset's Environmentally Friendly, Fair Trade, Free Range, Natural, Organic, Re-used and Recycled products, services, projects and events. The first edition of this A5 size, perfect pound publication was published in August 2008. 
 
The first half of the
Book is divided into various sections with inspiring and informative articles about all things green in the area, eg Dorset's eco-friendly Arts and Crafts and Coppicing; For Baby and Children; Green Score Card; Eco Friendly Living Tips; Fairtrade; Finance - Credit Unions and LETS; Food; Gardening; plus Homes; Recycling; Renewable Energy and Transport; Wildlife; For Women and much, much more. There's another section with articles about complimentary therapies.
 
The second part of the book, the 
Directory, is an A-Z of towns in Dorset, plus a 'Dorset Countywide' section. The sub-divisions for each town include:

Dorset's Green Book is a constantly evolving project. The next stage of this project will see the publication of Bournemouth and Poole's Green Book in November 2009.
